Inheritance | by Beth Moore

Are you someone’s daughter? We are ALL daughters of a Father who has given us an inheritance that is beautiful! This no-homework Beth Moore study is open to all women. Bring your daughters (16+), your mothers, a friend, or come solo as we consider the inheritance we have as described throughout God’s Word. He tells us, “The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.” (Ps. 16:5-6)  Let’s discover more together!

Gideon | by Priscilla Shirer

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out under the evening sky. But Gideon's story is so much bigger than that—bigger than any one man and his mark on Israel's history. Like everything else in the Bible, this is a story about God and His people. His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of their weakness—even through their weakness. And because God's people includes you and me, Gideon's story is also about us—our lives, our doubts, our struggles, and our possibilities as believers.

Saturdays With Your Spouse

This class offers a monthly opportunity to strengthen your marriage and fellowship with other WRCC couples. There is no book to read, or homework to do. Each session will begin with fellowship and light content followed by two hours of uninterrupted date time with your spouse. This event is not limited to couples with children and childcare needs. Attend any or every month.

Bible Basics
Bible Basics is a 6-week class that will introduce the fundamental basics of a personal relationship with Christ. You will find encouragement as you see what the Bible has to say about creation, sin, salvation, and prayer as well as other crucial topics. Whether you are looking into Christianity for the first time, are a new believer or just looking to fill in some gaps, this class will serve as the perfect foundation for building intentional discipleship and a solid commitment to Christ.

Run for God
Run For God is both a Bible study and a 5k-Marathon training program. It teaches individuals how to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ while also illustrating the parallels between an endurance sport and the endurance that faith requires. This study is for everyone, beginners to marathoners! Working together, students are not only prepared for a race at the end of the course, but for a closer relationship with a loving God who wants to see us run for Him! The 50-yard line at Memorial Stadium will be your finish line on Illinois Marathon weekend! Group runs every Sunday starting Jan. 26, 2pm. Room 402

Nehemiah: Rebuilding, Revival and Restoration of the People of God  
How do you respond when the enemy tries to interfere with God's clear direction? The enemies of God sought to frighten Nehemiah as he proceeded to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Malachi | Revering the Lord, Standing in Awe of His Name
God tells us that He is keeping a book of remembrance for those who fear Him and esteem His name. Malachi will prepare you for the day when the Lord opens the windows of heaven and pours out His blessing. (Three weeks.)

Death, Dying, and Medicine from a Christian Perspective | Dr. Todd Daly
Advances in medicine have profoundly shaped the way we view death and dying. For the first time in history we are now empowered with new technologies and procedures to forestall death, though it has come at a price—extended, costly stays at the ICU, procedures that may prolong life but also prolong dying, and the heavy burden of 'playing God' in determining when to remove feeding tubes or life-support. If, as the Bible says, death is the final enemy (1 Cor. 15:26), how far should we go in enlisting the powers of medicine to battle against it? What is a good death supposed to look like? This seminar will address these conundrums of modern medicine from a Christian perspective. Childcare available. *

Marriage Ministry 
Six Saturdays with your Spouse 
This class for married couples is a follow-up to the DNA of Relationships conference held at WRCC last June. Couples will strengthen their relationship as they apply concepts from the DNA of Relationships book (by Gary Smalley) in their marriage through weekly homework assignments.  On Saturday nights, all registered couples will meet together at church for a one-hour discussion, and then have up to two hours to spend time together on a date! Couples need not have attended the conference to sign-up for this class. Childcare is available, sign-up necessary to reserve space. *
