Fall Insight Classes 2013
Kingdom Man | by Dr. Tony Evans
Every man’s destiny, every woman’s dream. Our culture has redefined manhood by emasculating men through a repositioning of the role. Men are portrayed as weak, self-serving, and unfocused. When a man functions within the principles of Biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care. This study challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God, learning to operate under the authority of Jesus Christ.
Sun., Sept. 8-Oct. 13, 9am (Room 110)
Led by Jon Folsom & Kevin Jackson
Cost for book: $15**
Proverbs 31 Ministry | by Karen Ehman
Let It Go—How to Stop Running the Show and Start Walking in Faith.
Women are wired to control. We make sure the house is clean, the meals are prepared, the beds are made, the children are dressed, and everyone gets to where they’re going on time. But sometimes our strength of being conscientious can morph into the weakness of being a slight—or all out—control freak! This humorous, yet spiritually practical study will help you learn how to control what you should, trust God with what you can’t, and more importantly, decide which one is which! (Sorry, gentlemen, this class is for women only.)
Sun. Sept. 8-Oct. 13, 9am, Room 400
Led by Michelle Santiago
Cost for listening guide and book: $29**
Made to Crave | by Lysa Terkeurst
Has food become more about frustration than fulfillment? Made to Crave just may be the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. Lysa personally understands the battle women face and she will help you break the cycle of “I’ll start again on Monday,” and feel good about yourself today. You’ll be able to reach your healthy goals, draw closer to God, and crave him through the process. (Sorry, gentlemen, this class is for women only.)
Tues., Sept. 10-Oct. 15, 7-9pm (Room 110)
Led by Carol Myers
Cost for books: $20 **

Precept Inductive Bible Study | by Kay Arthur
Daniel—Living Out a Biblical World View
Threatened with death, Daniel stuck to his guns and refused to adopt a pagan lifestyle. His worldview had God at the center and he lived it out even under extreme pressure to change. In our culture today, is it possible to have a worldview with God at the center and live it out even under extreme pressure to change? Does the turmoil in our times, the uprisings and the spiritual decay of many have anything to do with how you live your life? How do you live in the crucial days in which you find yourself? Can you dare to be different? The Book of Daniel has the answers. Childcare is not available for this class.
Fri., Sept. 13-Feb. 28, 9-11am (Room 109)
Led by Pam Bloom
Cost for workbooks: Part 1 $20, Part 2 $25**
