Hi Ladies! WOW, summer is upon us, can you believe it? So, I'm curious how you are all doing with your continuing effort to break free? Anything new to share?
So, what are you studying this summer? I know a lot of gals meet with special friends and do a small group study. There are so many options. I want to encourage you to stay in the Word of God!
I felt a strong urge to do a Precept Bible Study. It's been nearly two years since I've done one. I'm going to study the book of Ephesians. I can't wait. I'm incredibly hungry for the pure word of God.
There are two options for a summer study at WRCC. Made to Crave by Lysa Terkeurst will be on Wed. mornings and evenings. This class will be taught by Mary Evans and is for women only. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend. The second option is on Sunday mornings. I will lead a 6 week DVD study taught by Ray Vander Laan called, That The World May Know. I am SO excited about this teaching series. Ray teaches from Sinai and in the Negev region of Israel. Talk about the Word coming to life! I guarantee you will be blessed. See WRCC website to sign up.

With the wonderful trip I took to Florida with my sister and a cousin/sister to see our only aunt on our mothers' side of the family, and Ben's wedding coming soon, I'm overwhelmed, at times. Of course, this is the time I need it most.
So, because of some new friends in my life who are seeking "something", I'm studying how to "give and answer for the hope that is within you." It's exciting and scary at the same time, but it is revealing anew my desperate need for God and His wisdom. It's fueling a hunger for Him and His perfect truth. Amen!

I am really enjoying the Precept Ephesians study! It's so wonderful to marinate in God's word and learn afresh all the wonderful blessings that are ours IN Christ and through his death on the cross. Praise HIM for bringing one who was far off near by his blood!
Doing more deep study today! It's a little overwhelming, but beautiful the way God reveals Himself. I'm amazed again at the wisdom and knowledge of Dr. W.L. Craig and Dr. John Lennox - both brilliant minds, yet totally submitted and humble before our Father in heaven. They and others are on the front lines of battle for all of us against the "New Atheists," who are out to stamp out religion entirely.
I'm inspired to pray for our champions, for the souls of these atheists, and for my own faithfulness to know what I believe and to be able to articulate it well.
All Praise be Yours, our Triune God! Can I get an Amen?
