Windsor Road Christian Church invites the community to come out for a fun night out with Jill Savage as she challenges us to Leave a Legacy. This night out is for everyone...single women, married women, women with no children, moms of little kids, moms with adult kids...so invite all your girlfriends and come for an amazing night out.

Every day we make hundreds of unconscious choices that affect our relationships positively or negatively. In order to invest in the people that mean the most to us, we have to make choices that bring life to our relationships. Jill will empower you to respond to the mistakes of others with grace, embrace God's powerful truth every day, replace anger toward loved ones with forgiveness, and chose life-giving faith over joy-robbing fear.

Cost is $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door, and includes a dessert reception catered by Minneci's at the Crossing. Tickets are available NOW at the Information Desk at church during the week and in the foyer during services on 4/26. You can download and print a mail in order form at windsorroad.org/moms. Why do we have Insight classes?

Our desire is to help you value Jesus Christ as your greatest treasure. Sometimes it takes just a little interaction with others and with a teacher to spur you on as you grow in your spiritual life. One of these classes just might give you the extra motivation to take that next step in your understanding, in your application of truth, and in your life.

Moms at WRCC | Mommy Moments

Being a mom is one of the most important jobs out there, but sometimes it feels like the to-do list is never complete and you never get a moment to take a break. We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month for a time of refreshment, encouragement, and fun with other moms as we talk about the fruit of the spirit and motherhood. Lost in the Middle | by Paul David Tripp

As we grow older, we look back on life and have regrets. We’re discouraged by the passing of our dreams. We realize we’re not the person we once wanted to be. Some people turn into cynics. Others become paralyzed. Lost in the Middle reveals that difficulties in life aren’t evidence of God’s inattention. In fact, they are signs of His grace, love, and faithfulness. Drawing Near to God

This class for men will focus on deepening our relationship with God through Scripture meditation and conversing with God. The exercises you will learn in this class were commonplace in the lives of believers for many centuries, but in our hurry-up world of today, they have taken a back seat. As evangelical Christians in the 21st century, we more easily gravitate toward serving in ministry, solving problems, helping the downtrodden, volunteering, and studying practical life issues. All these are right and important, but drawing near to God is to be a significant practice in our lives as well.

Perfect Harmony | Dr. Joe Thomas

Martin Luther King, Jr. famously said that Sunday morning is the most segregated hour in America. What does the Bible have to say about race?  Joe Thomas, Assistant Professor of Church History at Urbana Theological Seminary, will speak about a group of churches in American history who were able to “cross the color line” of American segregationism at the turn of the 20th century.  Dr. Thomas will explore how these churches read the Bible differently from other churches allowing them to practice inter-racial fellowship.  He writes on this very topic in his new book Perfect Harmony. Ethics at the Edges of Life | Dr. Todd Daly

This interactive seminar is a follow up to the Death, Dying and Medicine seminar, and will continue to explore medical ethical issues at the beginning and end of life, from prenatal testing to palliative medicine. Dr. Daly's brief presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring several of Windsor Road's own medical professionals, where you will have an opportunity to hear about these ethical issues from a Christian perspective, and to ask your own specific questions. When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out under the evening sky. But Gideon's story is so much bigger than that—bigger than any one man and his mark on Israel's history. Like everything else in the Bible, this is a story about God and His people. His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of their weakness—even through their weakness. And because God's people includes you and me, Gideon's story is also about us—our lives, our doubts, our struggles, and our possibilities as believers.
